Out in the great expanse
Darkness and Light
Silence and music
A great pull I feel
within me
A tug of war, so to
speak
My ego and my spirit
wrestle
The tension between
the two
Felt like an
elephant
So large as it sits
upon me
Ego I say – stop this
non-sense
Follow the spirit –
it knows best
Ego I say – let go
Of your preconceived
notions
Spirit I say – help
Ego out
Gently persuade her
to follow
The notions and
thoughts
Valuable to
Ego
I sense within myself
A swirling and
turning
As Ego and Spirit
interact
After a time, they
settle down
Now, as I sit in this
grand cosmos
I can observe and not
react
Judging what it is or
not
Letting go of all
that
Then as something is
presented
At first, I know not
what
I call out to this
‘something’
And it becomes just
that
The depth of this
mystery
I have only just
started
To experience the
more God has
Within myself as He
created
Now we together,
create
I am growing up
No longer a child
More responsibilities
are given
Learning alongside my Father in heaven
Out in this great
expanse
Darkness and Light
Silence and music
Creating as a son
Calling into being
Peace
