We start to enter into rest
Kicking and screaming
at times
The Natural Man tries
to exert itself
So many thoughts to
engage
Ego step back and
chill
My spirit begins to take
over
Once still in my mind
The silence
penetrates
Peace begins to
overshadow
Breathe in and
breathe out
Circular in motion
within my body
Rhythmic and steady
In and out – Up and
down
A darkness of sorts,
but good
That peace that
passes understanding
Surrounds all who have
entered
Into My rest
Stepping forward
Pushing in
A light begins to
appear
Softly glowing
Movement around
Can’t recognize anything
But stay steady
In stillness and rest
Releasing
Love and Mercy
Life for ALL
Remembering who we
are
This stillness and
rest
I love above the rest
My mind so still
Peace abides
