The feast is set out
Tables full of
harvest to share
A call goes out to
all
Come
Such hustle and
bustle
Throughout the land
The King has call all
Come
Preparations to be
made
Garments to choose
All must be perfect
to
Come
The King sits and
waits
Tables and feast are
ready
But where are the
people
Please, Come
People are about readying
themselves
So many preparations
to complete
We may be late – but still
Come
As the hours go by
The King is saddened
No one has come to
this feast
Close the doors, the King
calls out
Since no one came go
out to the streets
To the homeless and beggars
Bid them Come
Come they did with
grateful hearts
To celebrate with the
King
He dressed them all
in fine garments
Celebrated them for
who they are
Moral to the story:
Come as you are
before the King
That’s all he wants
from you
