Fully Surrendered

LORD,
I place before you just myself.
I seek to see you only.
Others around me are suffering.
Is there nothing I can do?

Daughter, there is.
Continue to stay in my Presence.
You may bring others to my throne.
Yet, don't hold tightly to things around
They are easily lost.

LORD,
I would ask for angelic help
Go fight the battle that is waging.
To protect those that are in harm's way
And stop the enemy's pillaging.

Daughter, you know I will do this.
Others only need to ask me.
To rise up and be my sons and daughters
With the authority, I have already given.

LORD,
I stand right now as your daughter.
My crown upon my head and scepter in hand.
To the raging wars I speak and declare:
Remember who created you and for what purpose.
Peace Be Still!

"Daughter", said He and smiled,
You are my warrior child.
It is time to rest.
Now, sit and feast, yes, before the enemy.
It makes him mad, but nothing he can do.
You are in my place, with me.
Fully loved.

Song of the Bride

I have somewhat recently purchased The Passion Translation Bible (PTB).  It is a new translation that is to “reintroduce the passion and fire of the Bible to the English reader. It doesn’t merely convey the literal meaning of words. It expresses God’s passion for people and his world by translating the original, life-changing message of God’s Word for the modern reader."  I thought that it would be good to read another more “modern” translation just because.

Well, when I received PTB, I knew it didn’t have the complete Bible, but it did include Psalms, Proverbs, and the Song of Songs from the Old Testament and the complete New Testament.  So, I was perusing through, the Song of Songs caught my attention.  Literally, the title was lite up.  I thought that was interesting, so I asked Papa God what that meant.  Of course, He gave me a “read it and find out”.

Understand that I am a theater person as my background.  When I read anything, I read for the story first, then I go back and read for characters, their background and such.  So, that’s how I read the Bible.  Usually, during those readings are when Holy Spirit will highlight things to me. Whether they are concepts or just the “what is happening here” and I research it.

I have read the Song of Songs only once before. That was in the King James Version when I was a very new believer and I didn’t like it at all.  In fact, it repulsed me, to be honest. I had no understanding of that kind of intimacy and I was only 17.  So, I never went back to it, until I got the PTB.

I asked Papa what I should be looking for and I heard nothing. So, my prayer was “Holy Spirit, help me read through this story with a new heart and new understanding. I then commenced reading.

The Song of Songs has 8 chapters. Within these 8 chapters is the heart of the King toward his Bride. How much he loves his bride. It also shows the struggle of the Bride, even though she loves the King, she struggles. By the time I finished reading the whole book in one sitting, I was in tears. Yes, I cried. I cried because the King LOVES ME.  He loves his Bride beyond anything we can even imagine. He loves us as a groom loves his bride.

So, my reaction rather surprised me. I went before Papa and thanked him for loving me as I am. I hadn’t realized how much the intimacy in my relationship with him was so overwhelming. I know that when I was younger, intimacy meant sex. But, after being married for going on 34 years, intimacy is not only sex but an opening up of feelings, dreams, a friendship that goes beyond a friendship-love or even a lover-love.

I sat in my chair for quite awhile just ruminating over what I had just read. Then, I hear Holy Spirit whisper, “It’s a play. It needs to be performed.”

My reaction, “What!?  I can’t write a play, especially The Song of Songs.  Are you kidding me?”

He whispered again. “Read it again as a play. Then make your determination.”

So, I read it again.  And when I did, I saw an 8 scene play along with the characters and how it could be set. It came to life in my head!  As I read, I saw it played out. Lights. Sound. Costumes. I saw the whole shebang.

So, I am in process of adapting the Song of Songs into a play format. More like reader’s theater than a full-blown show, but still effective non-the-less.  This is a collaborative journey with Papa. I go into my rehearsal hall in heaven and work through scenes and sometimes look at lighting and costumes.  It’s a blast!  Papa allowing me to be creative in a very different way and it is more satisfying than anything I’ve done in the past.

I heard a song by Paul Wilbur called “The Song of the Beautiful Bride”.

This is the story of Song of Songs.  I again wept with joy and love for my King.

A Shaking and Vibrations

There’s a change going on. Not sure how to explain it. I’ve been pondering over it since the beginning of this year.

There seems to be a shifting. I can sense it in the heavens, but also on earth.  A rumbling of sorts. Again, I can’t explain it. My whole being just senses it and knows it.  My spirit knows it.

I was sitting in my chair where I do most of my praying and worshipping and the ground began to shake. At the same time, my body began to vibrate. By vibrate, I mean my body’s frequency was changing big time. And this did not stop for 20 minutes. I thought every cell in my body was going to explode because of the vibration.  The floor was also shaking during that time, but nothing around me was moving.

While this was happening, I kept asking Papa God, “What is this? Why is this happening? Show me.”

You must understand that I do not come from any Pentecostal or Charismatic movement. I met Jesus in a conservative Baptist Church and my husband and I are members of an Evangelical Free Church. Stuff like this doesn’t happen. I am however, also a member of NW Ekklesia where I mentor folks to grow in their relationship with Papa God, so they can walk out their faith in the Kingdom of God. I have experienced manifestations of God and healings amongst that group of believers. I have also been walking in the prophetic since 2011, while still attending this local body of believers.

This shaking that I experienced was not a natural earthquake. It was in the spirit realm. There really is a battle going on with the powers and principalities of the air.  More folks are waking up from a very long sleep and discovering God has something more for each of them; more of Himself than what they were taught. Granted, there are still those who are waking up, but not liking what they are experiencing and wanting to go back to sleep!  Such a waste. But, we cannot wait for them. We must continue to go forward with God. He is calling each one of us get up and walk!  Calling each one of us to run!  Calling each one of us to Live!  Too long have we sat and slept when He was talking to us.  Our ears have been plugged by the enemy’s distractions and now we must focus. FOCUS.  God is calling us to focus. Quit being distracted by the enemy’s wiles. Be discerning. Watch and pray.

The Symphony

I pondered on a warm summer’s day, why a cool breeze lofting through the leaves in the trees could make such a wonderous sound.  It was like each leaf was a tone. The breeze was playing music in the trees and it was stunningly beautiful.  I closed my eyes and just listened.  The sounds that were around me filled my whole being.  Birds chirping their conversations. Squirrels chattering with other squirrels. Insects buzzing around, but not disturbing me.

I allowed myself to just soak in the sounds with no filters.  My feet were bare and feeling the ground under me. As I listened to the sounds around me, I also allowed myself to feel the earth beneath my feet.  I allowed my spirit to just melt with the sounds around me.  My feet, they seemed to become one with the earth.

Then I heard a frequency. It was soft at first. It played in amongst the others sounds around me.  It was like listening to a symphony.  I marveled in my spirit how creation sings.  The next thing was the vibrations that I was sensing in the earth.  It was all in tune with each other.

I marveled how our Creator orchestrated his symphony.  Each tone of a bird’s song, each chirp and chatter of a squirrel and even the mooing of cows – all intertwined together to make a symphony.

Now, I am inside and it is winter. The cold brings either rain or snow. I had the opportunity to watch the snow fall. It was silent as it fell. Yet, it must have made a sound.  It made the world around me quiet. For some reason, the covering of the snow seems to bring a sense of longing. A longing for wholeness and purity.  Now the rain comes. It washes all the snow away. It reveals the nicks and rubbish on the ground. The dark skies, with clouds heavy with rain, seem to be foreboding. But, as the rain comes down, I hear the sound on the roof. The swishing of cars going by as they run over puddles. Here again is another type of symphony. Rumbling vehicles driving on wet streets have some sort of rhythmic pattern. The rain pounding on the roof has a rhythmic pattern.  The wind blowing through the evergreen trees is not silent. It plays each branch.
Listen to the symphony.  It’s there for each of us every day.  A symphony so grand that we miss it because we don’t take the time to listen. Sometimes, that symphony is soft, so unless we listen we miss it.

I close my eyes and quiet my soul. I then step onto my seat of rest.  I ask my Creator to help me listen with His ears, so that I can hear His symphony.  It is most beautiful.

Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory prayer has at times gotten a bad reputation. I am an intercessor and my journey in prayer over the years has been, let's say somewhat mundane. I went on a personal search for MORE of God. I wanted to connect with Him in a really initmate way, but had no idea how that worked or even what it looks like.

Back in April 24, 2014 I discovered what some would call "Papa God's heart". Here is an excerpt from that day's journal.

........
This morning I was listening to a guy on YouTube, Robert Henderson. He was talking about "The Courts of Heaven".  He was talking about how intercessory prayer is actually taking something to Heaven's court.  I have also been reading more on intercessory prayer; different types of prayer for different things.

From the deepest place of my being, I began interceding on behalf of my church.  I began standing in on the church body's behalf and as I did, began repenting for being cynical and having hardened hearts. I asked forgiveness for losing the passion and fire of the relationship with God. I repented of pride and selfishness. I repented of putting our own desires before God's heart desire.  From the depths of my being I cried- weaping for our church.

You see we had become a "Nazereth". Our hearts had become hardened where God couldn't move corporately; in some individuals they were still open, but no more.

Then, I began declaring that we would seek God with a passion. I declared we would once  again have that fire in our hearts for God's heart; not seeing our own, but His. I declared we would have a new found Joy in Him; where our passion lies in a direct line with God's.  I declare that our church would begin to walk in the destiny that God showed me in a vision a year and a half earlier:  A Lighthouse to the City of Seattle. The power which comes diectly from God to the church, then flows out of each of us to the four corners.

I then began praying for the City of Seattle. My stomach hurt because of God's great sadness and hurt. I felt His sadness and great love for the city.  He wants to heal this city. I began repenting for the sins of the forefathers here in government. The people's prejudices and slavery. My heart literally hurt, because God's heart hurt. I asked God to forgive them because they didn't know what they were doing.

At this point, I began to place Gates of Protection around the city, especially for May 1st. I declared that Seattle would walk in the destiny God has called this city to. I asked Holy Spirit to hover over and around our city leaders and council. I asked protection for our police and fire departments. I repented for the lies and deception from the police leaders. I asked for clarity of truth, that they would not listen to deception and lies.

I also prayed for our nation and it's leaders. I repented on their behalf for turning away from God and listening to the evil one. I asked that we would hear God's truth far above all the lies and follow the voice of His truth.

I haven't wept like that since I went to Bethel. Then, I was released and my heart and stomach didn't hurt anymore. I actually felt lighter!

Amazing things I'm learning for the Kingom. I want to go deeper and God is taking me deeper.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above, ye Heavenly Host.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

AMEN

My New Lenses

My journey with Papa God has led me here.  It is really on a higher plain than before. I am still me, but the “me” has changed.  Actually, my lens in which I see the world and the people around me have changed.  It’s like getting new glasses and trying to get use to them.  Rather uncomfortable for a while, but I know I will get use to them soon. I know these new lenses are from Papa God.  He knows what I need to see and I must see in a different way. That’s fine, but it sure is uncomfortable.

I have been at this place before; this place called uncomfortable.  It is a place in my spirit where I am moving forward at a very quick pace, but my mind hasn’t caught up yet. So, in this place of uncomfortable, I am in a fog.  Not a real dense fog, but one where I am uncertain as to my path. I must walk in total faith in the God who loves me so much that He gave me new lenses to see with.

You know, as I get use to these new lenses, the world around me is clearer.  I don’t really know how to explain it, except there is a crispness around me; a freshness of sorts.  I look at my neighborhood and it has changed a lot and not necessarily for the better.  Yet, through these new lenses, I am seeing… well, I believe I am beginning to see what Papa God sees; the true destiny and redemption of this place.

If that is so, then I am seeing through Papa God’s lens for I could not look upon this place and see the beauty that He sees.  I hear the sirens and see the lack around me.   Yet, there are special moments now, where I see what He sees; a redeemed neighborhood and city.  So, what do I do with what I now see?

I speak Shalom over this neighborhood and city.  I declare that God loves this place and those that live in and around the city will begin to walk in the destiny that God has called them to.  This beautiful city will become what God has seen it to be and will be.  I speak Life and Light to this place where I dwell. Each home on my street, I declare that those living there would begin to see and hear the God of their Creation and would begin to walk and live in the destiny God has called them to.

I declare the evil that now lives in this place will go because the Kingdom of God is here.

You see, Papa God sees all of us, even in the muck that we live in, as beautiful. He sees beyond that to what will be.  He created us in His image. He created us to be sons and daughters that have the Holy Spirit leaking out of us, which in fact, changes the atmosphere around us.  Yes, as believers, we change the atmosphere around us.  If we are intentional about it, the influence can be pretty wide spread.  For instance, if you step into a store consciously ask Holy Spirit to spread His presence in a 10 foot radius around you. See what happens.  I have done this a few times lately, and if you are aware, you can sense the change.  The people change around you. It’s pretty cool.

I want to be able to use my new lenses in a positive way for the Kingdom of God.  Seeing our world the way God sees it is one way.  The next step is acting upon that.  We can change the world around us – one lens at a time.

The Blow of the Shofar part 2

Whew!!!  After that I was stunned. I had an assignment from Papa.   One could imagine, I was kind of anxious about the whole thing.   The evening before, I was in prayer about the next day when I had to blow the ram's horn. I heard Papa God tell me that it was alright to invite two specific friends to come with me. One was to bring a drum, the other would read the declarations after I blew the ram's horn.  So I contacted them. They were thrilled to come and be a part of this.  Then Papa gave me specific instructions as to what to say and when to say it.

Five declarations were to be made; one right after each blow of the Ram's horn.
I typed them as I was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

So, my friends and I went to Golden Gardens down near Shilsho in Ballard. It was a beautiful sunny Spring day. I had thought that there would be many people down there walking or just soaking in the sunlight. I was wrong!  We arrived about 9:40am.  There were just a handful of folks.  We walked out in the sand toward the water.  Found a spot that "felt right" and sat and talked and prayed.

At 10:06 am, March 5 I blew the Ram's horn per the instructions of my Papa God.  The drum that my friend brought was played as well, as the Holy Spirit led.  These were the declarations made:

First BLOW:

We praise you Oh God, for you are good.
Your Mercy endures forever.

We praise you Oh God, for you are Loving.
You have lavished your love upon us.

We praise you Oh God, for you have given us Salvation.
Your Son, Jesus Christ – Messiah.

We praise you Oh God, for the Keys of Authority.
Your Son, Jesus bought with his blood on the Cross.

We praise you Oh God, for you give council.
Your Holy Spirit gives us Wisdom and Knowledge that only comes from you.

SECOND BLOW:

Oh Father, our city, our state, our region has sinned against you and you only.
As the representative with the authority given by Jesus through His blood on the cross, we repent of our sins.  We know that you are the One True God.  Forgive us for going against what you want us to do and be.  Forgive us for turning from our identity that is in you. Forgive us from fulfilling the destiny that you have for this city, this state, this region.

We come before you with repentant hearts. Forgive our political  leaders, for they don’t know what they do. Forgive your church, for we have stepped into ignorance.  Help us to turn back and wake up and know who you are. Cleanse this city, this state, this region so that we may walk in the Kingdom as we were created to do.

THIRD BLOW:

We declare that all that is dark and against the LIGHT of Truth will be brought into that LIGHT.  Shine on the evil and reveal its secrets. Do not let deception and lies rule.  You are God and Truth.  Let the darkness be revealed in Your Light of Truth. Witchcraft and all that comes with it is to be revealed in Your LIGHT.  We cover ourselves with your Light and Protection. No evil may befall us or our families.  Father, reveal to the government officials of the darkness that they have allowed in.  We reject that darkness, in the Name of Jesus. The Angels standing with us this day and always are our protection from the darkness.  No more shall the darkness deceive and lie. No more shall depression and worry abound.  We reject those in Jesus’ name.

FOURTH BLOW:

We pray protection over our government leaders. Close their ears and hearts to the enemy. Close them so they may not hear the voice of the evil one or his minions.  We ask that you protect them from the evil one and their whisperings. Let them hear Your Voice and see Your Truth and Light.

We pray protection over our church leaders. Close their ears and hearts to the enemy. Close them so they cannot hear the whisperings of empty Religion. Open their ears to the Truth and Light of the One who created them.  Let them hear Your Voice, Oh God and not the enemy.

FIFTH BLOW:

As you, the Lord of Hosts have stated:
I AM GOD.
I will break through from heaven and call out to earth to listen to Me.
Stand firm.  Do not waiver from the left or the right.
I am the Truth.  I am your Creator.
Wake up!
I AM YOUR GOD.

During the Third Declaration, a cold wind and presence was felt on my right side. I ignored it and focused on the declarations and also remembered that God told me not to waiver and just stand firm. When the Fourth Declaration was made, that presence fled. It was weird.   Now, after the Fifth Declaration at the end, the waves became louder and louder. It was so odd, because there were no boats or wind that should cause that to be.  Prior to the declarations, there were no waves really, no sound of waves.  There were no boats on the water that would cause waves.

I am still pondering this assignment that was given.  I certainly felt the presence of God with us, as well as the enemy nearby.  We broke something in the spiritual realm.  I cannot begin to tell what that was, but a shift of some sort happened. All I know is, I did what Papa God asked of me to do.

Also, March 5th of this year was Purim. The Jewish feast of Esther.  Just thought I'd mention that.

He answered and I am to declare it on myself, because He did first.
