Fire to burn off the dross

heart becomes lighter
Restoration
comes only
When
we submit to Fire’s purification
Layer
upon layer, Fire burns through
Ashes
build-up, but it makes all new
All
my passions and desires I submit to Fire
Any
that are unrighteous or unloving
Like
a log placed on a campfire
Each
desire or passion burns in purification
Lord,
Purify
these desires so they will be white as snow
That
I may walk into your presence without guilt
Or
shame.
